The many-talented Rachel, blog-author of Lovely Clusters, had a *delightful* color-cluster post of blue & green -- and I fell in love. This is just goorgeous. If I didn't have to save up for some upcoming travel, this would be mine in a heartbeat. No, I have nowhere to use this. But who cares? That fabric is just sumptuous. le sigh.

Okay, and who am I kidding -- I'd *love* this too.

At $47, that's not bad at all!  Um, if I were getting married or had another fancy event to attend.  Shoot, I'm already bidding on *another* lace dress, hee :) (yes, actually, it *is* very Adrianna Papell! or perhaps I should venture to say AP is going vintage...)

Secondhand Lions

Man, I wish I could find a full length shot -- but I just saw Secondhand Lions (hee!), and Kyra Sedgwick's dress in her last apperance in the movie -- not this one, but it's similar, being a white/ivory sheath, but with a pink lace accent at the collar. Le sigh.

*And okay, i think that dress has made it here maybe 3 times. What can I say? That lace detail is just beautiful to me :D And this is part of the notebook purge, but these are so pretty, they get their own day :D

Maybe what I should do...

...is just buy all these beautiful dresses, hold them for a little while, then sell them. Not for profit, just so that i won't go into debt + yet can still treasure these awesome vintage dresses that are perfect for cute weddings. Is that how people open up businesses? So much love that they want everything, but want to pass on that love? But surely you can't just sell things at cost -- how else would you afford rent/seller fees + shipping + taxes + whatnot?
(Sigh) -- regardless...

• *Love* this simplicity. The graceful demure lines. Maybe at the knee rather than ankle, but maybe it's simply lovely at the length it is.

Okay, it's happened again. Tell me I didn't want this.



It's just sooo precious! And perfect for... I don't know. Okay, yes I do, for a cute number that is so church appropriate + still could be re-worn. And *in*my*size. But at $125 -- yes, fabulous for vintage (and *my*size, did I say that?), but not in the budget. Not until Wed (payday), anyway. I saw it Fri. Le sigh.

And then there's these, but luckily they're not in my size :) And I'm not sure about the scuff marks on the heels, but cute still!

These are *such* good deals, are you kidding me? A 42" mantilla edged in lace + pearls for $32 (and $3.50 in shipping)? And $13 (incl shipping) for a vintage lace dress? Oh jeebus. somebody stop me. but i'm *so* excited to get these in the mail though. hee.
