Week's Lovelies

Honestly, I came across too too too many lovelies this week to refrain from sharing!  Just a sampling...

  • This beautifully fun fabric in the Dolce collection by Tanya Wendelken featured on decor8.

  • And who am I kidding, *everything* here on decor8 of Homes & Gardens.

    • The beautiful romanticism in these photos by Duston Todd, featured by Snippet & Ink. (Okay, you know it's the lace that's getting me, and the total Cinderalla-/Southern Belle-esque dress, I *love* it!!)

    Oh the best intentions

    grey likes weddings, feat. Plum Pretty Sugar (source of all photos below)

    Well, I went into the office today, so I figured I might as well share some goodness :D

    Simply Hue + Lovely Clusters hosted a fabulous giveaway for a dress by etsy designer Plum Pretty Sugar, and I won!  I was *delighted* to receive it in the mail this past week -- and of course I'm lazy to take photos, but really, this model does a fabulous job showing the gorgeousness of this piece of lightness :)!

    Thank you soo much, Vicky + Rachel + Charlotte!

    Other pieces of Plum Pretty's that I love?  Well, okay, they're all featured in the above collage on Grey Likes Weddings, but in bigger detail (because *look* at these colors!  And the near transparency in the sunglight looks *so* dainty!)...

    Whoa whoa! I just found Plum Pretty Sugar's blog, too -- *so* delightful, the color is incredible!!

    Suuuper Want

    ClutchThat @ etsy

    The many-talented Rachel, blog-author of Lovely Clusters, had a *delightful* color-cluster post of blue & green -- and I fell in love. This is just goorgeous. If I didn't have to save up for some upcoming travel, this would be mine in a heartbeat. No, I have nowhere to use this. But who cares? That fabric is just sumptuous. le sigh.

    Okay, and who am I kidding -- I'd *love* this too.

    At $47, that's not bad at all!  Um, if I were getting married or had another fancy event to attend.  Shoot, I'm already bidding on *another* lace dress, hee :) (yes, actually, it *is* very Adrianna Papell! or perhaps I should venture to say AP is going vintage...)

    And if only I were a smidge tinier + richer, I'd go for these, too!  super le sigh.

    Seriously, white interiors are everywhere, and I'm *loving* it!

    Have a beautiful Friday!

    Love these colors -- something about this pink-y peach + the grays... le sigh. Hope your Friday is this fabulous :)!

    BIA: Keep guessing

    {Real Simple}

    I bet you'll never guess what this one's for.

    Guess again.

    Armstrong flooring. Yup. THE FLOORING.

    And even better?

    It's FAUX wood. Like, laminate. !! Crazy, right? But the ad -- I just love all the colors. Okay, and the shapes. Okay, and yes, they pop amazingly against that floor. Good job, stylist.

    Why, yes I *am* procrastinating

    Yup. I know a flickr set exists out there devoted to the old Domino Mag files. And here's just a few of my faves from what I found, courtesy of habitually chic.

    Oh, giddyness {shabby blogs lovin}

    Check these out. Seriously, who knew such a cute thing existed??

    Lengthy backstory:
    Here, Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere says she's reading New Moon (!!! do I need to say more??), and then the first commenter on her blog wrote that STEPHENIE MEYER IS MOVING DOWN THE ROAD FROM HER! I was all, No effing way -- although really, I don't what I'd do if we were neighbors anyway, b/c I don't even really talk to my own, let alone someone who's imaginary world I want to invade take over pop in, every now and then.

    A-hem, then I popped over to the commenters blog (she's only 18! wtf SM is moving down the street from her?) --

    BUT. POINT: aren't these backgrounds *amazing*?? For someone who has *no*idea* how to do this kind of design (and really, whose day job (1) takes too much time to learn how to or research what all's available and (2) does not pay enough to pay someone to create a design) -- THESE SHABBY CHIC BACKGROUNDS ARE AWESOME!

    Seriously. I can't even tell you how long I've sat at my computer this morning, playing around with backgrounds + updating + trying to figure out what photographs I already have so I don't have to figure out how to credit someone with a gorgeous image for my header (thanks, Bee + Y, btw, for the hand of sea glass, that's sooo my fave image, well, the beach is gorgeous too) + THEN I realized they've got headers too!!!

    Now if only I can figure out how to center it maybe? Oooooh, and then post dividers?? AND TAGS ON THE SIDE! Oh jeebus.

    If I could figure out how to make *all* of these work and not care about colors:
