Wedding *gorgeousness*! {Emmy & Aron}

Holy freaking cow, something about this wedding is just breathtaking. Yes, the photography, but the bride + groom + all their attendees look just sooo happy + in love + all that good stuff. So of course I popped over from Style Me Pretty's feature to the blog of Casey Cunningham Photography -- truly incredible.

Scentsy Fabulosity! Wickless Candles

I'm so excited for my friend Elizabeth! She's branching out to selling these lovelies -- wickless candles called Scentsy!


There's so many scents, it's nuts! I think they're perfect for college dorm rooms + other places that prohibit candles (what else does :D?) And even for the office, after the scent blocks have been "burned" for several hours to dilute the scent -- I mean, you melt the little wax bar in the adorably fab ceramic dish (sitting atop a lamp), and when you're done with smelling good, you pour it right back into the container it comes in, for use next time! And these things pop out like ice cubes for re-use!! And you can switch back and forth between scents by pouring whatever's melted, back into that container, wiping down your dish, and then melting a new "cube" -- NUTS!

Here's my buys:

Pima Cotton- A light, clean blend of lilies, freesia and jasmine.
Cashmere - Sheer floral bouquet combines Moroccan jasmine, lily of the valley and bergamot.
Sweet Pea & Vanilla - Ambiance of raspberries & Sweet Pea petals with vanilla.


I also loved Simply Irresistible (lavender with a strong, woody background of amber, moss and musk), but I stuck to 3 scents on this round :D I know, not much variety, but I'm super into the fresh fresh scent, and these totally do it for me :D

Seriously, I super heart dwellings and decor, and while Rachel is out getting married + honeymooning (yea!) -- she has lined up some seriously fierce guest post-ers! Love this, and everyone else who's posted so far! But seriously -- check out this chandelier -- swoon.

BC 16: Last veil push

T, I had *such* a fabulous time this weekend! It's almost kind of weird -- well, first, since I've relinquished my push to exchange vows in the church next year since I'm still so indecisive, I've lost that little extra oomph to search wedding blogs like crazy -- But especially after spending this weekend with you + all your seriously amazing + brilliant + beautiful friends, I've almost completely lost the drive to search for wedding treasures, b/c hanging out with all of you guys so brilliantly drove home the point of a wedding: to bring together loved ones! And all the details -- which were fabulously created by your sis + DB -- still paled in comparison to all the love surrounding you this weekend -- and dude, that was your B party!

Despite the non-push in me, clearly I'm still looking (hee, 3 posts in one day yesterday? more?) -- but this *I promise* is the last veil deal I'll push on you. BUT FOR REAL: it is practically non-existent!! And that edging -- normally I'm not a fan, but it's practically transparent + the edging just brings a little bling (hee, despite our hatred of that word!) and doesn't look formal at all!!

But you're right, that fascinator is gorgeous --- and you absolutely do not need a veil. But eeeee, this would be perfect, if you were going for one, hee.

Vegas-style

Man. What a whirlwind of fun. Two trips in one place, radically different -- each of them was soo fabulous. I don't even have words, but I heart my girls!

And of course upon my return, there's so many pretties to catch up on -- but Style Me Pretty featuring Viva Bella Events captures how Vegas with my college then post-grad friends feels in my head: totally glammed out, happy, over the top but totally on, relaxed and surrounded by so many loved ones...

PS: And of *course* i know you ladies are out there: Speidi got married! I know, shameful that I heart The Hills so much, and I know it's all for real fake now -- but I'm so confused about Speidi. I for sure hope none of that is real (though I've heard Spencer is a nice guy) but I don't care, they seem terrible for each other! Anyway, thanks, Kat/RockNRollBride (and thank your friend!) for sharing -- terrible for your friend, but that's soo for the mtv effect, I know.
