Okay. I know that's a lot goin on up there in the photo. So I'll break it down: 25% for online ordering (where available) for first timers at Pei Wei!

I already placed our order, for pick up when I get off work in an hour + 20 mins! What a rockfest. Oh jeez, there goes my goal to run a half-marathon in November.* I could have scheduled pick up for 20 mins after I placed the order, but hey, at least I can make my work goals, right?


*Well, realistically, we all know I probably wouldn't have :D I think I might go for the training schedule, though, just for something to aim for, and maybe there'll be another one nearby or something next spring? I know the Houston one totally sold out in like 2 days. But hey, any fitness plan would be great. We've got the 90x (PS90x? that's not right...) plan, but alas, have not started that either. Hmm, with love for deals like this, I wonder why that's not surprising...

... and only when I uploaded this to my flickr set did I notice that I pretty much *nailed* the beautiful palette of colors by InspiredBride, based on Citrusheart's gorgeous photo!

*seriously. that jacket is *amazing.* I think I saw a diy tutorial somewhere, and I think I have just the jacket to experiment with. But I am definitely no expert, so we'll see if this happens!

But I stumbled across {casando ideias}, a delightful blog created by Bertie, a Portuguese journalist living in the UK, and self-proclaimed wedding-lover :) Okay, I've *just* discovered it so I can't say whether she regularly posts (344 posts in 2009? perhaps :) ), but regardless, her blog looks delightful to thumb through -- like these dresses (and I've just picked my faves!) -- swoon...

*I know MadeByGirl just featured this gorgeous bride + dress, but I remember this caught my eye a few months ago on another blog who focused on the magic mirror and the bride + the veil in front of it, with her gorgeously-ruffle-dressed bridesmaids helping her arrange her dress + veil -- does anyone else remember these images + where they might have come from (other than MadeByGirl and the fab photographers Sweet Monday :) ?) This is gonna drive me nuts...

I would like to note that the gun in the middle of all that is a (bar?) of soap. We have a friend who ... well, really, what could justify a gift of soap in the shape of a gun :D? Oh well, I know he'd love it. If guys would dig gifts of soap :D

*So, I know they've panned to Taylor when Jordan was trying on the couture gowns, and Tay always looks a little unhappy. And Brad explained in a little vignette (?) that Tay just has curves that won't fit (even though she's tiny!!) but Jordan has no curves. And I was appalled (cuz hello, you wanna see curves?) until I saw this photo, and maybe that's true :D And *love* the photo :)
